365 project: Day 088

The sky was a gorgeous blue today and I love how the leaves stand out against it.

365 project: Day 087

Today's picture is just a leaf. I love fall so I thought I'd take a picture of the leaf...lol. I boosted the saturation of the big leaf and the little yellow leaf and I desaturated the grass. It was very green and it didn't let the leaf stand out much. I like how it turned out.

365 project: Day 086

We went to Horn of Plenty, a local produce market, to get our carving pumpkin today. I only got tiny pumpkins for the girls to color when we went to the pumpkin patch because Daniel wanted to be part of the pumpkin picking process, as he called it...lol. When we got home, we carved our pumkin. The last picture left to right is the Peabody family pumpkin, Arnold the pumpkin (I drew that and I named him Arnold...it seemed to fit), Kelsie's 1st pumpkin she's ever colored, and Ashlin's 1st pumkin she's ever colored.

365 project: Day 085

My sister-in-law, Rachel, and I took the girls to the pumpkin patch today. They loved it! When we were on the hay ride, Kelsie saw our car and said, "Dat's a MY car!!!" She was so proud of herself...lol.

365 project: Day 084

I was putting clothes away after laundry and Ashlin was in the room with me. I looked over at her and she'd pulled the bottom drawer of the dresser out and climbed in and she was just sitting and smiling.

365 project: Day 083

This is just Ashlin walking around. She loves it when we put her down outside and just let her go.

365 project: Day 082

We got the girls halloween costumes today. They're going to be dinosaurs. We got Kelsie a pretty vampire costume, but just out of curiosity I tried Ashlin's pink dinosaur on Kelsie and it was just so darn cute. It fit perfectly except it was too short so I bought light pink pants to go underneath to make it look like it fits. I didn't want them to both be pink dinos and the green dino Daniel wanted for Kelsie was definitely made for a boy so I got the light blue dino for Ashlin and of course the pink one for Kelsie. Here's a little preview, but Ashlin wouldn't cooperate.

365 project: Day 081

We went to the fall festival today. It was the 10th anniversary (which explains the party hat you'll see in one of the pictures). We had lots of fun even though it was pretty cold and the sun was playing peek-a-boo behind the clouds. The best part was probably when we went on the kids train ride. Kelsie was saying "choo-choo" when she saw it so we got in line for the next ride. I thought since she was the one who wanted to ride she would be all excited, but she was pretty mellow. She had fun and was smiling, but she didn't get really excited. Ashlin, on the other hand, was super excited! She was screaming and throwing her arms up...it was the cutest thing!!!

365 project: Day 080

I did the girls fall pictures today. I edited the picture in a new way today. It's supposed to look natural (lightening up the girls since they were too dark, but darkening the background since it had too much noise. It seems like every time I use the brown background I get too much noise :/).

365 project: Day 079

I had to take Kelsie to the doctor this day because she had a rash covering most of her body. Turns out it was because of the new lotion I put on her so she's fine thank goodness. Just can't use Johnson and Johnson's Vanilla Oatmeal lotion anymore. While we were waiting for the doctor to come in, I got some cute pictures. The 1st one is Kelsie goofing off and the 2nd is Ashlin just being cute.

365 project: Day 078

This is an Ashlin version of a hamburger. Little pieces of hamburger patty, pickle, and some cheese. She was going to town on that pickle. She's just like her mommy :o).

This was Ashlin's 1st time wearing her 1st pair of converse. These were Kelsie's 1st converse and now they're Ashlin's.

This isn't the best picture cause I couldn't get the reddish cast to go away, but I thought Kelsie was cute. She was trying on her new coat, gloves, and hat and showing off her halloween bucket...all while wearing her nightgown...lol.

Daniel's mom got him some hair gel. I couldn't resist. Ashlin's hair was just screaming for a mohawk! So I listened and gave her one. :o) You get a bonus with the first picture...if you look on the wall in the background, you can see Kelsie's beautiful artwork. It'll be worth millions one day if I could just figure out how to frame a wall...

365 project: Day 072

The girls and I met Kelsey and Kyri at the park today. We had a lot of fun and I got some cute pictures. *Picture overload day* (I couldn't help myself...hehehe.)
