365 project: Day 014

I took some pictures of the girls this morning. Daniel wanted me to take a picture of Kelsie's hair because she slept in her pig tails last night and it looked funny this morning. I got a couple of Ashlin, too, and I was lucky enough to get my first picture of Ashlin standing her own. She's been able to do that for about a month now, but I've never been able to get a picture of it. The quality is horrible, but at least I captured the moment.

365 project: Day 013

I had to go to the grocery store today and it's been a few days since the girls and I've been out of the house, so I thought I would put the girls in cute outfits and put their hair in pig tails. When I was done, I decided then was a good a time as any to take a picture for my blog. I wanted to get a good picture of them together since that's near impossible. I think I got a good one even though Ashlin wouldn't let go of my brush to save my life! Kelsie's in the middle of saying cheese and it kind of looks like Ashlin is, too, but she's not.

365 project: Day 012

I'm cheating a little for day 12 cause I didn't take a pic so I'm using another picture I took on the 11th. It's ok, though, cause there wouldn't have been a change in my photography in 1 day. :o)

365 project: Day 011

So, I got behind again and I have to play catch-up. I took pictures, but I've been to lazy to post a blog...lol. Today's pic is from the photo shoot I did with the girls on the 11th. They didn't turn out as good as I'd hoped even with the floor lamp for extra lighting, but they could have been worse.

365 project: Day 010

Today's picture doesn't have some long explanation behind it. I just took a snapshot of Ashlin and put a black and white edit on it. The second picture I took late last night. Ashlin fell asleep and I needed to do something before bed so I laid her on the couch and she was just so cute I had to take a picture of her. Daniel was just out of the shot so he made sure she didn't roll off.

365 project: Day 009

Daniel, the kids, and I went to his mom's house to have dinner tonight. I've been promising to cook dinner for them for a month or so now and I finally did it. I cooked at my place and then took it over to my mother-in-law's though, since they have a lot more room. I was cooking for half the day and I had to cook enough food for me, my hubby, Kelsie, Ashlin (who wouldn't eat more than a few bites, but I count her anyway), my mother-in law, father-in-law, my brothers and sisters-in law (Gabe 19, Rachel 18, Mary 16, Mark 12, Abby 4, and Jada 3). In case you weren't counting, that's 12 people...lol. We had a blast over there and to top it off, my FIL took off at one point and came home with two little bunnies for Abby and Jada. Kelsie loved them and Ashlin (who hates almost every animal she's been around) couldn't get enough of them! The first picture is one of the bunnies sitting between my legs. We were trying to see if they would explore, but they were scared and when any one of the girls would reach for this one, it would back up further til it got between my legs...lol. The other pics are of the tutu's that I made Kelsie and Ashlin, so I thought I would put them up.

365 project: Day 008

Today is my husband's 24th birthday...Happy Birthday, Daniel!!! So I thought it was only fitting that the pictures for today were a little special. Daniel's riding go-carts all day today so I don't have a picture of him, but I took pics of Kelsie painting a birthday card for him (the front of the card says "Happy Birthday to the best Daddy in the world!"). This was her first time using paint (watercolors) and she's actually pretty good at it. She had a blast and didn't want to stop. I also threw in a pic of Ashlin being really cute. She put the necklaces on her neck all by herself.
